Activities
The staff consists of three researchers dispatched from Okayama University and one office worker. The center is engaged in researching diarrheal diseases and in performing collaborative research with Indian scientists.(1) Improving Detection Technology for Diarrheal Microbe:
Improvement of isolation technologies for diarrheal microbes. In cooperation with diarrheal specialists working in an infectious diseases institute in the neighboring state of West Bengal, the center works to detect new diarrheal microbes.(2) Analyzing the Pathogenicity of Microbes that Cause Diarrhea:
