Established in 1988
Department of Genomics & Proteomics was founded
as Gene Research Center for the promotion of higher education and researches
using gene manipulation and recombinant DNA techniques in this University. It
has five rooms for recombinant experiments from P1 to P3 level, eight rooms
for radioactive works, and a room for training courses, equipped with modern
machines including an automated DNA sequencer and an imaging analyzer. They
are available for 24 hours. Two hundreds people used this Center in 2002.
