Special Public Lecture: Louise Ohashi, Meiji University“Learning English through Digital Technology”

Contents:
This session will highlight some of the advantages that digital technology can offer to language learners and introduce some useful learning tools. There will be opportunities to learn about and use a range of materials that can help build stronger English skills. Audience members are encouraged to bring a web-capable device (smart phone, laptop, or tablet) and earphones to fully participate in interactive parts of the session.

Bio:
Louise Ohashi is a computer/mobile assisted language learning (CALL/MALL) enthusiast who teaches English at Meiji University. She has been teaching English for 20 years, with experience in Japan, Australia, Italy, England, and Spain. She loves learning new languages and has used many of the tools that she will introduce in her session at Okayama University to improve her Japanese, French, and Italian skills.

Reservation: Not required (open to everyone)
