On June 18, YMCA Setouchi, a public interest incorporated foundation, donated food packages to the students who lives in Okayama University International Student Dormitory. The donation was part of their student support initiative to help international students economically affected by the COVID-19. These sets included instant food such as pasta, cup noodles, and soup, as well as soft drinks.

All the international students were very grateful for the support and happily received their groceries. Later in the day, a group of international students sent a message of gratitude to YMCA Setouchi, saying, "We were touched by the fact that so many people are looking after us even in these difficult times. We can't thank you enough."
