Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs Robert Kinyua of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya) and others visited our university on October 26 as part of the Africa-ai JAPAN JICA project and paid a courtesy visit to President MAKINO Hirofumi.
　
The courtesy visit was attended by FUNAHASHI Hiroaki, Executive Director for Academic Affairs / Provost, KIMURA Yoshinobu, Dean, School of Agriculture, GOTO Tanjuro, Vice Dean, Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science, and KUBO Yasutaka, Vice Dean, School of Agriculture. Deputy Vice Chancellor Kinyua thanked Okayama University for its contribution to the development of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and exchanged opinions on future collaboration.
　
The cooperative relationship between our university and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology began in 1981 with a JICA project to support the establishment of the university, and has continued over the years. It is hoped that this visit will further strengthen the relationship.
