On December 4, 2022, our university's Broadcasting Culture Club participated in the final of the 39th NHK National University Broadcasting Contest held at Kyoto Asney (Kyoto City Lifelong Learning Center, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto).
　The contest featured 355 works by 71 organizations that had passed each of the qualifying rounds, and the winners were decided in the categories of announcements, readings, audio commercials, radio programs, video commercials, and video programs.
　From our university's broadcasting club, one work in the video program category and one in the reading category advanced to the finals, and "[Must-see for college students!] Tips for writing reports, " which was entered in the video program category, won first place. This is the first time since the 36th competition held in 2019 that they have won first place. In the reading category, NITTA Maiha (2nd year, School of Education) won the Encouragement Award.
　In response to this results, TANIGUTHI Mayu (2nd year, School of Letters), the director of the film, said, "The film is filled with many common things on report that were proposed by the club members. I hope the film will make you laugh when you write your reports. MIYOSHI Manami (2nd year, Faculty of Law), who was in charge of editing the video, expressed her joy saying "Editing was a time-consuming and laborious task, but I felt a great sense of accomplishment when it was completed. I am very happy to have received such an award at this competition.”
　Ms. Nitta, who received the Encouragement Award in the recitation category, said with enthusiasm for the future, "I was really happy to have the opportunity to have so many people listen to my reading. I would like to use this experience to further improve my skills."
