Mr. TAKATANI Ibuki, a member of our university's soccer team, was selected as one of the Okayama Prefecture Student League Best Eleven

On February 12, the 2022 Okayama Soccer League Awards Ceremony was held at the Sanyo Shimbun's Santa Hall (Yanagimachi, Kita-ku, Okayama City), and TAKATANI Ibuki (2nd year, School of Engineering) of our university's soccer club was selected as one of the "Okayama Prefecture Student League Best Eleven.”
　At the ceremony, the winning teams of each league and the best eleven players were presented with certificates, commemorative plaques, and medals in recognition of their achievements. The best eleven players from the Okayama Prefecture Student League were selected for the first time in three years due to the effects of the new coronavirus.
　Mr. Takatani, a graduate of Otsu High School in Kumamoto Prefecture, a strong soccer school, is currently a midfielder of our university's soccer team. Upon being selected for the Best Eleven this time, he said with great enthusiasm, "I am very happy to be selected for the Best Eleven. I will work hard to live up to the name of this prestigious award, and this year, the whole team will work together to win promotion to the first division of the Chugoku League." Let's look forward to seeing Mr. Takatani, who is leading our university's soccer club!
