EPOK Exchange Program Information Session Held — Supporting the First Step Toward International Exchange

May 16, 2025

On May 14, Okayama University held an information session for the 2026 Exchange Program (EPOK). EPOK is a university-wide exchange program open to students from all faculties. As of April 2025, students are eligible to study at 63 partner universities.

The session was attended by 30 students from various faculties. The event began with a presentation by Associate Professor OBAYASHI Junko from the Institute for Global Human Resource Development. She provided a detailed overview of the EPOK program, including how to apply and the schedule leading up to departure. She also encouraged the participants with the message, “Your study abroad journey starts today.”

Following this, two international students currently studying at Okayama University through the EPOK program gave presentations. Ms. Zarska Kaja Katarzyna from Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland) and Mr. Kim Jungjin from Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea) each introduced their home universities and shared insights into student life. It was a valuable opportunity for attendees to hear directly from international students from EPOK partner universities.

After the session, many students were seen asking individual questions, reflecting their strong interest and enthusiasm for studying abroad.

Okayama University will continue to hold briefings and report sessions for students. All students interested in studying abroad are encouraged to participate actively.
