On Saturday, November 8, the Global Discovery Program (GDP) hosted a career event as part of the “Business Japanese” course, inviting three companies from Okayama to campus.
About 15 students—mainly from the GDP—participated, and more than 20 people joined the event in total, including company representatives and faculty members.
After company introductions, students took part in small-group sessions where they were able to speak directly with company representatives. They learned about the world of B2B (business-to-business) companies—an industry they do not often encounter in their daily lives—and had the opportunity to ask candid questions about work and career development.
Through this event, students gained valuable insights into local industries and were encouraged to think more deeply about their future career paths.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the participating companies and all the students who joined us.
