On September 27 the 2012 Okayama University Autumn Degree Ceremony was held in the 50th Anniversary Hall, witnessing 126 undergraduate and graduate students who had successfully completed their studies take a new step forward in their lives.
President Kiyoshi Morita presented degree certificates to four representatives from the undergraduate school, master's degree courses, doctor's courses and the professional degree courses. The speech for the ceremony was given in English as part of the university's effort towards globalization, and stated the hope that the students would exercise strong leadership meeting the demands of society while furthering the knowledge they had gained at Okayama University to help find solutions to the diverse problems facing the world today.
