The Okayama University 2015 Academic Year Undergraduate Faculty and Graduate School Fall Matriculation Ceremony was held on the Tsushima Campus on October 8. This first step in campus life was taken by a total of 50 undergraduate and graduate students, including 37 overseas students from 12 countries in Asia, Africa and Europe.

A total of around 70 people attended the ceremony, including the new entrants and their guardians, President Kiyoshi Morita, executive directors and vice presidents, and deans of the graduate schools. President Morita, delivering his commemorative speech in English, encouraged the students by saying, “I hope you will participate proactively in the development of the next generation of our society, and work hard with a big ambition.”
