The 3+1 Program aims to provide hands-on classes to enhance Japanese language proficiency as well as understanding of its culture for international students who are studying Japanese language and/or studying Japanese culture at our overseas partner universities.

As for Pre-Master Course, it aims to offer tuition of academic Japanese language as well as courses to enhance understanding of research activities for international students intending to apply for graduate schools of Okayama University.

We have 35 students enrolled for 3+1 Program and 11 students for Pre-Master Course for Fall 2015. At the Opening Ceremony, Prof. Yoko Yamamoto, Director of CGPE gave an address of welcome and all academic staff introduced themselves to the students.
The 46 students will learn Japanese language and culture for 6 months or 1 year to fulfill their goals.
