On January 20, a delegation headed by Denis Fomin-Nilov, Rector of the Russian State Academic University for Humanities, paid a courtesy call on President Kiyoshi Morita.

Dean of the Faculty of Letters, Professor Takeshi Kanaseki, and Director of Center for Global Partnerships and Education, Professor Yoko Yamamoto, also attended the discussions with President Morita. Rector Denis Fomin-Nilov stated, “There are many students studying Japanese at the State Academic University for Humanities. We hope very much to have active student exchanges with Okayama University.”

On January 18, a faculty-level agreement was concluded between the Faculty of Letters of Okayama University and the Russian State Academic University for Humanities. We look forward to a further expansion of student exchanges based on this agreement.
