Policy for acceptance of admitted students
The Graduate School of Education is looking for students who possess a strong interest in educational issues, who aspire to acquire advanced specialized knowledge and practical skills, and who wish to contribute to the society through their research.
The Professional Degree Program accepts students who possess a deep sense of responsibility and enthusiasm towards participation in school education, and are broadly interested in the current state of education at schools; who strive to solve issues present in school education, and acquire or develop advanced practical teaching abilities; and who plan to be influential in the improvement of schooling situations. We also accept in-service teachers who aspire to take a leading role in local communities and schools.
The Master’s Program accepts students who are innovatively considering the wide variety of educational phenomena in the realm of educational science; who have the enthusiasm and the basic academic skills necessary to empirically and systematically pursue the issues found therein; and who are willing to develop greater knowledge and advanced problem solving skills in order to contribute to the development of educational science.

The Graduate School of Education is looking for students who possess a strong interest in educational issues, aspire to acquire advanced specialized knowledge and hands-on leadership abilities, and wish to share the results of their research in the community.
The Master's Program accepts applicants who possess an interest in the education and development of infants, children, and students, as well as in scientific research related to the content of all offered school subjects, and applicants who possess the basic academic abilities and desire to theoretically and practically pursue future educational ideals. Furthermore, the course accepts students who possess an interest in a variety of issues related to education and clinical psychology, and wish to pragmatically support children in accordance with empirical and clinical research, and clinical psychological approaches.
The Professional Degree Program accepts students who possess a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm towards participation in the school education system, and are broadly interested in the current state of education at schools; students who strive to solve issues present in the school education system, and acquire or advance their practical teaching abilities; students who plan to play their part in the improvement of schooling situations; and current teachers who aspire to take a leading role in local communities and schools.
