Profile of Prospective Students
Prospective students should possess the implementation ability to tackle challenges in international and local communities through education, the inquiry ability to identify and set problems, and the communication ability to support others and collaborate with peers. Additionally, they should demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to creatively deepening their expertise as well as exploring related scientific fields, in order to broadly and deeply pursue the potential of education.

Different admission selection processes with varying application requirements are implemented to evaluate a diverse range of students.
Screening Method
Applicants will be examined using one or a combination of tests based on academic ability, an interview, a review of submitted documents, or other methods in order to assess their academic ability or aptitude for study at Okayama University.
Screening Process
In the interview (including an oral examination), applicants are comprehensively evaluated based on their understanding of specialized knowledge and their interest and motivation in addressing societal challenges through education, as outlined in their research summary documents. The essay and document review assess the applicant’s logical thinking and expressive abilities related to education.
General Admission: Applicants are evaluated through an essay, an interview (including an oral examination), and a review of submitted documents.
