Yiliqi (China)

I am Yiliqi from China. I have a strong interest in Japan through Japanese animation, so I decided to study in Japan after graduating from university. I cherish the opportunity to study at Soil Management Laboratory. I hope I can improve my professional knowledge and have a deeper understanding of Japanese culture. My hobbies are reading novels, singing and watching movies.

Gao Lingxue (China)

I am Gao Lingxue from China. I like eating delicious food, painting and watching movies. Influenced by Japanese anime and TV dramas, I am very interested in Japanese life and scenery, especially as a food lover, I also like Sushi, Okonomiyaki and other Japanese delicacies. So I want to study in Japan. I am very interested in the knowledge of the pedosphere, so I applied to the Soil Management Laboratory. In addition, I am very grateful to the professor for giving me this opportunity, so that I can study as reserch trainee, and I will continue to try my best in the future.

Master Course

Hiroto Kohtaki

I came to this university because I am interested in land use and soil chemistry. I would like to do research while thinking about what I can do in the future. There are many international students in our laboratory, so I will study as if I were here as an exchange student. My hobby is drinking. I drink beer in summer and whiskey in winter.

Nguyen Thi Minh Nga

My name is Minh Nga, and I am currently an exchange student at Okayama University under the Vietnam Partner International Master's Program Scholarship. I have a strong passion for research and truly value the opportunity to study and gain hands-on experience in the Soil Management Laboratory. Through this program, I hope to further develop my professional skills while also deepening my understanding of Japanese culture. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and cooking. I'm excited about the journey ahead and look forward to making the most of this experience.

Kentaro Kanamori

Hello, my name is Kentaro Kanamori who was born and raised in Osaka. My hobbies are listening to music, traveling, and cooking. My special carbonara is the best in the world and is better than the one I ate in Italy. In the future, I’d like to get a job which is related to soil sciences in abroad.

Miyu Sazuka

I'm interested in dry lands and irrigation in the world, so I went to this environmental management course to study them. Through the lectures, I noticed that soil related to dry lands and irrigation is important and chose this laboratory. I'm looking forward to exploring my interests. Then after graduating from the graduate school, I would like to work in the world such as Africa or Asia, and make many people smile. My hobby is climbing at the mountain, camping, cycling, and traveling. I'm going to work on various things outside of studying.

Yahiro Sasaki

I am from Yamaguchi Prefecture. I chose this laboratory through the lectures. I was attracted to the importance and interest of soil and the environment. Opportunity to experience English more in this laboratory, so I want to do my best while enjoying speaking in English. My hobbies are traveling and drinking, and I like to drink alcohol at restaurants that are unique to my travel destinations.

Kota Hagihara

I’m from Kakogawa city in Hyogo prefecture. I like baseball, and I’m a fan of Hanshin Tigers and Teruaki Sato who is a baseball player belonging to Hanshin Tigers. I want to learn about “Soil Health” at this laboratory under the supervision of Professor Morihiro Maeda.
