Notice from the Health Service Center About the novel coronavirus (COVID-19)

In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, you are advised to wash your hands regularly and to cover your nose and mouth when in public by wearing a face mask.
In the event that you display cold-like symptoms, you should take off from work or school and stay home until you recover.

What to do having cold symptoms

If you have cold symptoms, please consult with a Call Center for Japanese Returnees and Potential Contacts by telephone or other means.

What to do after receiving remote consultation 

1.If you contact the Okayama City General Consultation Counter for Foreign Residents and you are
  advised to go a particular medical institution, please go to the designated medical institution.
2.When attending a consultation, please take care to observe good hygienic practices; wash your
  hands and cover your nose and mouth by weaing a mask.
3.After consulting with a doctor, if you are infected COVID-19 or received the virus test, please
  contact the Health Service Center by e-mail as soon as possible.

Those returing from foreign countries 

Upon arrival in Japan
1.Fill out the "Medical Questionnaire" and send it to the Health Service Center via fax or e-mail. FAX:086-251-7222
2.Even those without any symptoms are advised to self-quarantine for 10 days from their day of
  arrival and monitor their health by checking their temperature twice daily. Additionally, returnees
  are advised to keep washing their hands regularly and to wear a mask.
  Fill out the "Progress Report" and send it to the Health Service Center via fax or e-mail.
