本校于10月2日在创立五十周年纪念馆举行秋季入学式，最新入学全球发现计划学生25人和研究生139人开始了大学生活。
　　入学试上那须保友校长用英语发表致辞「As a student studying at a research university promoting the SDGs, we hope that you will learn many new things with your friends, colleagues and us that will enable you to produce and deliver innovative discoveries, skills, and applications to the world. With that purpose in mind, please enjoy the opportunities to experience the history and culture of the Okayama region as well as its rich natural environment.（作为在推进SDGs的研究大学学习的学生，希望能产生创新的发现、技术、应用，与朋友一起学习很多新知识。为此，请享受可感受冈山县历史、文化、丰富自然魅力的机会）。
　作为新生代表、全球发现计划项目MAY HSU MON CHO同学宣誓：「We have arrived here from various corners of the world, each of us carrying unique stories and enhancing diversity. We pledge to respect one another's differences and values, to support each other's growth, and to strive tirelessly in pursuit of our dreams, with the ultimate goal of contributing to the betterment of our society, our nations, and the world as a whole.（我们来自于世界各地区，今天相聚在这里，每一位都拥有独一无二的经历，提高了多样性。我们尊重彼此的差异和价值观，互相支持彼此的成长，向着梦想不断努力。”
