The Chu-Shikoku Branch was founded in 2001 as the newest branch in the Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry. The distinguished service award are awarded to some members who contributed to the development of branch in every two years. Prof. Kenji Inagaki received the distinguished service award 2016 of the Chu-Shikoku Branch on 15th September 2016.
