Our laboratory investigates relationship between spin ordering and orbital ordering in electron. Prof. Akimitsu has pointed out the importance of the orbital ordering since 1970's. Now the orbital ordering is essential to argue the solid state physics. From now on, it is expected that this field will be investigated more and more.
