  • Project Internship
Group Brief Introduction
Urban Planning ▪ At university level:
Considering and discussing the latest trend of the public transportation, Tsuyama City is selected as a sample field to analyze data such as the use of the public transportation and consider the possible solution for the public transportation.
 At regional level:
With regards to the development of the public transport plan in Tsuyama City, we would like to conduct the fieldwork and accumulate practical experiences of collaboration with the local municipality and citizens.
▪ At international:
We would like to conduct an investigation on the traffic plans of Chinese cities and to experience the present traffic situations. Especially, by examining the true situations in big coast city where holistic traffic plans were implemented as well as inland cities which still rely on cars as the main transport, students could make a deep understanding on the diversity of traffic systems. In addition, students could have an international sense by discussing with Chinese university students.
Atmospheric Environment ▪ At university level:
The growth of the agriculture crops - Internship of the ecosystem investigation (to have an understanding and skill of the investigation work) would be held.
▪ At regional level:
The growth of the agriculture crops - Internship of the ecosystem investigation (fieldwork) would be held.
▪ At international level:
  (1) International internship
Fieldwork of the farmland management and the growth / ecosystem investigation would be held in China would be held.
  (2) International seminar
The international seminar is held for the purpose of sharing the feedback from the international internship with the student who was not able to participate in the program, also with graduate students and researchers in the related field. The issue of Asia warming and an ideal method of the farm products management are discussed.
Geology・GroundwaterEnvironment ▪ At university level:
To acquire the knowledge that is necessary for the understanding of the subsurface water environmental problem in Asia
▪ At regional level:
To understand the present conditions and the problems of the ground investigation method and the soil experiment method in the laboratory
▪ At international level:
To hold an international seminar about the geology and groundwater environmental problems in Asia (a series is planned).
Historical Landscape At university level:
  (1) To investigate and discuss the infrastructure of Japan and China from the ancient times to the recent periods
  (2) To investigate and discuss the condition of waterways, canals, and alley scenes in Japan and China

Solid Waste Management At university level:
  (1) Aimed at the college students of Okayama University, to learn how to formulate a questionnaire and analyze the questionnaire data by making a questionnaire survey about students’ garbage awareness
