Academic Seminar: 'The 3rd Global Seminar on Sustainable & Earthquake Resilient Structures'
November 19, 2024
In its third year, the Global Seminar will introduce important research topics in sustainable construction and wood engineering. Researchers from Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Sweden, and Japan will focus on sustainable timber construction, new directions in sustainable buildings, the properties of wood as an environmentally friendly and earthquake-resistant building material, the durability and design for reuse of timber structures, innovative wood joint durability, and the development of composite hybrid structures combining steel and Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT). This seminar will promote wood engineering and provide an opportunity to build networks among international researchers.
We hope you will join us in this global dialogue on sustainability of building structures and expanding our network of international researchers.
