Trevor will share experiences and lessons learned from living in Japan and learning the language and culture over the past 27 years. This interactive lecture will explore the obstacles overcome, lessons learned, strategies employed, and opportunities that arose along the way. It will conclude with encouragement for attendees to let their passion guide their journey, just as the lecturer has done.

Bio:
Trevor Raichura is a university English-language lecturer in western Japan. He has over 27 years of life experience in Japan, stretching from Okinawa to Hokkaido. His teaching experiences have varied from elementary school to adult classes, in both the private and public sectors. Trevor also foraged into the world of sports journalism, writing a column in Japanese for Daily Sports Online for seven years. His in-depth coverage of the Hanshin Tigers earned him local and international attention.
