<Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) center>
 Amid the recent crisis of low birth rates and the increase of marriage and pregnancy in later life, rapid improvements are required in the field of reproductive medicine. Embryologists are healthcare professionals who provide auxiliary reproductive treatment, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), the culturing of embryos and the cryopreservation of gametes and embryos. Both embryologists themselves and the aforementioned treatments are urgently required in Japan at the present time. However, until now, there have been no systematic training programs for embryologists in Japan. As treatments and procedures are in constant flux, we desperately need professionals with the most up-to-date training and knowledge available.

< Our mission is to provide >
1. a systematic ART education program for undergraduate
  and graduate students
2. ongoing ART education programs, not only for clinical
  embryologists but also those who are on maternity and
  /or childcare leave
3. to become a core center of international ART
  education research.
