Medical supports to Myanmar has been continuing for years by both Medical and Dental Schools of Okayama University.

　Acquisition of Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Science Major) for Scientific Staffs of Ministry of Health (Department of Food and Drug Administration, MFDA) in Myanmar will be supported systematically based on the agreement between Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Okayama University and MFDA, which controls administration of medical supplies in Myanmar, by learning the advanced pharmaceutical research skills. They are expected to lead the administrative management of medical supplies in Myanmar, as well as to systemize advanced pharmacy education in Myanmar. Okayama University also provides their scholarships to support their study.
