The purpose of this activity is for international students to participate in exchanging their own culture and history with community members of Yakage Town. Through co-understanding, the local community can find a new approach for sustainable development and be responsible for their own community management.

（１）Home Stay in Local Community　Around 20 international
　　　students have joined in homestay programs.
（２）Support for Traditional Festivals With the Japanese
　　　population declining, the student’s power
　　　encourages　citizen engagement in local communities.
（３）Learning the Realities of Local Communities in Japan 　
　　　International students visit rural areas to understand 　　
　　　the challenges these communities face in revitalization.
