On October 22nd, Okayama University held “Okayama University Homecoming Day 2022” to make visitors feel nostalgic and familiar with the university. Since 2020, we have been refraining from holding the event due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, and it was the 11th time held for the first time in three years. This year's event was held in a hybrid format, combining face-to-face and online sessions, from the perspective of preventing the spread of new coronavirus infection and to make it easier for people from distant locations to participate.

The main venue was the 50th Anniversary Hall, where the Uraja performance, opening ceremony, Kanemitsu Achievement Award and Kanemitsu Encouragement Award ceremony, commemorative lecture by Professor SHEN Jian-Ren, photo contest award ceremony, and the Okayama University Music Festival were held, as well as various hospitality events at each faculty venue. Participants seemed to enjoy the refreshing autumn day on the campus, which was blessed with fine weather and full of greenery.
