Mr. KUBO Shunki (Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Master’s Course, Okayama University) and Mr. NAKAI Tatsuya, CEOs of Okayama University-based venture ABABA Inc., have been selected to the "Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025" list announced by the American business magazine "Forbes".
The "Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia" is an international award that selects 30 outstanding young entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, and other innovators under 30 years old from the Asia-Pacific region across 10 different categories. For the 2025 edition, a total of 300 individuals were selected from over 4,500 candidates through a screening process conducted by the Forbes Asia editorial team and external judges. The evaluation criteria included fundraising, business revenue, social impact, market fit, technological innovation, and future potential.
Mr. Kubo and Mr. Nakai were chosen in the "Consumer & Enterprise Technology" category. In 2020, while still enrolled at Okayama University, Mr. Kubo founded "ABABA," a direct recruiting service for new graduates that sends special scouting offers to job seekers who have advanced to the final interview stage. The service has since grown to be used by approximately 2,300 companies and 40,000 job seekers annually. After graduating from Kansai University, Mr. Nakai co-founded ABABA with Mr. Kubo and currently leads the "REALME" business, which aims to resolve mismatches between companies and human resources.
Mr. Kubo was also selected for the "Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30" list in 2024. He commented, "I am truly grateful to our customers who use ABABA, the members who challenge alongside me, our shareholders, and all the related parties including Okayama University who support ABABA."
