Inter-Faculty Agreement Signed Between Suranaree University of Technology (Thailand) and Okayama University Neutron Therapy Research Center

The Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) in Thailand and the Okayama University Neutron Therapy Research Center (NTRC) have signed an interdepartmental international exchange agreement to promote research on Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT). The agreement aims to advance BNCT in cancer treatment by strengthening research collaboration between the two institutions.

On September 24, 2025, a signing ceremony was held on the SUT campus, attended by Acting President Phornsiri Chongkol and executive team from SUT. From Okayama University, Professor NARUSE Keiji of the Faculty of General and Global Studies Division, who also serves as Director of the Neutron Therapy Research Center, and Associate Professor (Special Apointment) IGAWA Kazuyo of the Faculty of the Interdisciplinary Education and Research, who is also affiliated with the Center, participated in the event.
