The Okayama University Weight Training Club captured the team championship at the 61st Kansai Intercollegiate Spring Powerlifting Championships, held at Okayama University Ryobi Arena on June 21.

The team delivered an outstanding performance, with five athletes winning their respective weight classes: KURODA Ai (2nd-year, School of Letters), IURA Nana (4th-year, School of Engineering), INOUE Rin (3rd-year, School of Engineering), OKUHARA Yuma (4th-year, School of Engineering), and SUGINO Hiroki (4th-year, School of Education). Mr. SUGINO was also named the tournament's Best Male Lifter.

The championships attracted 86 competitors from 10 universities across the Kansai region.
