On April 25th, Okayama University began a partnership with Capital Normal University in China. President Kiyoshi Morita and Vice President Masaru Araki visited the university to meet with Executive Vice President Hui-Li Gong and sign the letter of agreement.

Capital Normal University consists of 18 colleges and 48 majors, and is a central public university in Beijing, with about 20,000 graduate and undergraduate students. The school proactively accepts international students, and 2,000 students, including short-term students from about 70 countries, are currently enrolled.

Prior to partnering with Capital Normal University, Okayama University facilitated an international exchange with universities in northeast China. With this partnership as a foundation, the university strives to expand and hold active exchanges.
