Vice-president of Inner Mongolia University Pays Courtesy Call on President Morita

August 28, 2012

Mr. Shiliang Ban, vice-president of Inner Mongolia University, which has a partnership agreement with our university, paid a courtesy call on President Kiyoshi Morita on August 22. This was his first visit to our university since the signing of the agreement in January 2012.
Mr. Yong Zhao, director of the International Center, accompanied Mr. Ban on their visit to our school. Mr. Ban suggested wide-ranging exchange over all fields, including education, science and agriculture, in addition to the exchanges we have had so far with pharmaceutical sciences through the partnership agreement. Mr. Morita stated his hopes for greater activity in the future to ensure active student exchange and joint research between the two universities.
Exchange with Inner Mongolia University has involved seminars and symposiums from '06 mainly focused on pharmaceutical sciences. Since the signing of an inter-departmental partnership agreement in July '10 between our Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Studies and Inner Mongolia University's Graduate School of Life Science, there have been ongoing student exchanges.
