A courtesy visit to the President Counselor, Nicolas LACÔTE from the Embassy of France

Counselor Nicolas LACÔTE from the Embassy of France visited Okayama University on June 24th and paid a courtesy call on President Kiyoshi Morita.
Counselor Nicolas LACÔTE, upon the conclusion of the “Agreement regarding studies for continuing studies at institutions of higher education within Japan and the French Republic and the mutual recognition of degrees and credits” in May this year, said “we can anticipate a further strengthening of university exchanges between Japan and France.”

After that, an exchange meeting was held with our faculty and international students from France. Senior URA Bernard CHENEVIER and others made presentations with a focus on the characteristic research initiatives of Okayama University and the relationship between our university and France. The international students introduced their study abroad lives at Okayama University.

Our university has concluded university-level / faculty-level agreements with 5 universities in France and conducted student exchanges and exchanges on the research front.
