Okayama Student interviewed by Nature Japan website

Yusuke Yamanari, a year 2 Master’s Course student at the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology was interviewed by the magazine called “Nature” and the interview was posted on the website of Nature Japan.

Yusuke Yamanari is a member of the research team led by Professor Kubozono, and Associate Professor Kanbe. The team discovered that organic compounds would change into a superconductive state when reaching the absolute temperature of 18K (-255℃). It was published in Nature on the 4th of March 2010. Yusuke Yamanari played an important role in confirming the whole process; from synthesizing organic compounds, to discovering the superconductive state, and his name was on the research paper published in Nature as the third co-author.
