On July 7, 2015, Okayama University concluded a University-Level International Exchange Agreement with Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Beijing Foreign Studies University is a national university located in Haidian District, Beijing, and is one of the national key universities under the direct control of the Chinese Ministry of Education. The university is also a famous and authoritative university with the longest history of foreign language education in China.

Prior to the conclusion of the agreement, President Kiyoshi Morita and other faculty and staff members of Okayama University visited Beijing Foreign Studies University on June 30, 2015. In the future, relations between the two universities will be further strengthened through student exchanges and other activities. With the conclusion of this agreement, the number of universities with which Okayama University has University-Level International Exchange Agreements has reached 111.
