On December 22, a delegation including the Director General of Department of Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Malaysia (NRE) visited Okayama University to pay a courtesy visit to Director and Executive Vice President Hiroshi Kanzaki (who has responsibility for international affairs).
　The delegation consisted of the Director of the NRE Department of Environment Malaysia, Dato’ Dr. Haji Ahmad Kamarulnajuib bin Che Ibrahim and five professors from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. NRE and the university are pursuing education for an ESD program in Malaysia and engaged in an exchange of views with Okayama University, which is vigorously promoting ESD and SDGs, to gain insights into the implementation of a campaign aimed at awareness-raising regarding sustainable environmental management among citizens.
