Welcome to the Department of Cytology and Histology, Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences
This department originated from the Department of Anatomy, First Division, Okayama University Medical School, established in 1943, and was first presided over by Masaji Seki. This department was established in 2001 through the reorganization of faculty under Junzo Sasaki. From April 2012, Hideyo Ohuchi has been directing studies on developmental biology and regenerative science/medicine and in-charge for conducting lectures and practical courses on histology and developmental biology for medical/graduate students.
