Curriculum Policy of School of Agriculture

Department of Agricultural Sciences

The Faculty of Agriculture consists of one department. In this department, there are four educational courses which are agrochemical bioscience, applied plant science, applied animal science and environmental ecology. In the first year, students take major foundation courses in parallel with general education courses. In this way, they will acquire a wide range of the fundamental knowledge of agriculture. Then, after judging their interests and aptitudes, they will join a specific course in the first half of the second year. From the latter half of the second year, they will belong to a laboratory and move on to prepare for their graduation thesis while taking major courses. In the fourth year, they will experience practical research through experiments and surveys, and will complete their graduation thesis.
In this way, students accumulate knowledge in a specialized field of study based on a wide range of fundamental knowledge. We offer a curriculum that can cater to the diversifying needs of society and develop human resources that can accommodate a wide range of fields.
