HPV vaccination
Japanese ver. is hereHPV vaccine and cervical cancer screening is effective to prevent cervical cancer.
For females born between April 2, 2023 and April 1, 2023 can get HPV vaccine at public expense until March 2025. We will offer HPV vaccination to ensure that you don't miss this opportunity. This HPV vaccination will be handled at Okayama University Hospital. We will prepare medical record of all reserved persons in advance. If you make a reservation, we will contact you to confirm your residence registration and to make documents. Please note that you need to respond to these requests.1. Eligible person
- Females born between April 2, 1997 and April 1, 2007 inclusive.
- Also who have not completed HPV vaccination, and who can get vaccinated all three doses at Okayama University Hospital.
2. Schedules
- 1st dose：August 7, 2023 - August 9, 2023 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- 2nd dose: October 16, 2023 - October 18, 2023 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- 3rd dose: January 22, 2024 - January 24, 2024 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

- For those who are registered residents in Okayama prefecture☞Okayama
- For those who are registered residents outside of Okayama prefecture☞Outside of Okayama
Applying for procedure of reimbursement to the municipal office that your residence is registered in advance is required, if your place of residence registration is outside of Okayama prefecture.
Also, you have to pay ¥25,790 on the vaccination day at Okayama University Hospital.
The reimbursement amount may be less than ¥25,790 depending on municipality, please make sure to ask your municipal office in advance.
6. Reservation
- Reservations will begin at 10:00 am on June 27, 2023 for those who plan to leave Okayama University on March 2024 due to graduation or other reasons.
- Reservations will begin at 10:00 am on June 29, 2023 for other students.
We will offer for vaccination opportunity next year. If you can't make a reservation this time, please consider getting it next year or at other medical institution.
