Message from the Director of the Department
Gender incongruence (GI) is defined as a condition in which the gender assigned based on biological sex does not align with the gender the individual identifies with.
At Okayama University Hospital, a multidisciplinary team comprising the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology collaborate to provide care.
